Getting Started

"Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established." — Proverbs 16:3

This guide walks you through the full setup — from system requirements to your first profitable session. Take your time, follow each step in order, and you'll be ready in 30–45 minutes.

System Requirements

Installation Steps

Step 1 — Download the indicator package

Sign in to your account, then go to your account page and click Download NinjaTrader Indicators. You'll get PBFIndicators.zip.

Step 2 — Import into NinjaTrader 8

Open NT8 → Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On… → select the downloaded ZIP. NT8 will install PBFCornerstone and PBFSignalAnalyzerV5Beta and recompile automatically. Wait for the compile to finish (~30 seconds).

Step 3 — Add the indicators to your NQ chart

Open a 5-minute NQ chart. Right-click → Indicators… → search for PBFCornerstone → Add → OK. Repeat for PBFSignalAnalyzerV5Beta.

Step 4 — Activate your devices

The first time each indicator loads, it'll open your browser to profitbyfaith.com/activate. Sign in, click Approve this device, return to NT8. The indicator unlocks within 15 seconds. See Account & Licensing for more on the device approval flow.

Step 5 — Open your Signal Analyzer Portal

Go to profitbyfaith.com/SignalAnalyzer/ on any device — phone, tablet, second monitor, anywhere. The indicator pushes its state to the app automatically. No extra software required.

First Trade Checklist

Before you take your first live signal, run through this — it'll save you money on day one.

  1. Pray. Center yourself. Trading without conviction or emotional clarity is gambling.
  2. Confirm tier & score. Don't take C-tier signals until you've watched the app run for at least one session live.
  3. Check your stop. The app shows the recommended stop in ticks — never override it down. $200/contract max per signal is the guardrail.
  4. One contract. Start with a single contract until you've taken at least 10 signals and reviewed your results.
  5. Journal it. Compare what you took to what the app fired. We're building a dashboard for this — for now, log it manually.
  6. No revenge trades. If you take a stop, don't re-enter on the next signal "to make it back." The app will fire 3–5 more in the kill zone — wait for the right one.
Trading futures involves substantial risk. The PBF Signal Analyzer is an educational tool. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Never risk capital you can't afford to lose.
